recently, i have noticed a lot of bashing going on, especially in the naruto and bleach forums. i was wondering if instead of giving those warning diamonds, instead the offender got a period of being banned from the particular forum. and this would be cumulative, like first a week of being banned from the forum, then two weeks and so on till they are completely banned from that forum. so its different then regular warning and banning

I thought each warning sign (red diamonds) meant a different period of time of being banned from all forums in general? >.<

And it would be silly to ban someone from just one forum. Banning would mean they broke the rules repeatedly, what's to say they won't do it in other forums? I think that's why when mods (or admins don't know who does it) ban someone they ban them from all forums completely...especially if bashing is the reasons for the warnings in the first place...

no. what im saying is member "A" is a dork and repeatedly bashes an author or member due to his beliefs in a single forum but is otherwise a fine member. i know people who are like this. no names.
so the admins decide to ban him from the forum that he was bashing on and no other. if he does the same in more than one forum, the regular warning and ban rules apply because he is not being exclusive
