Oh, Luffy. Sleeping through the entire story (though his expression on the last page was quite nice [foreshadows Luffy taking on Hordy]). Then Franky. 🤣
Hmm.. If I had to guess Hordy's plan...Perhaps he will invade the Archipelago? Maybe attack Mariejois (or whatever the city is called) using Neptune's visit to the surface as a decoy? Not sure

Maybe a good hint that Shirahoshi will join them because Luffy didn't pay attention to Nami's flashback either. Shirahoshi doesn't have a dream at the moment but Sanji/Franky didn't reveal theirs until almost the end of their perspective arcs. I found this arc somewhat parallel to the sky island arc. The sky people also yearn for vearth also.

Luffy had already decided that he'll help and protect Shirahoshi, so he doesn't need to know about her past.
On the other hand, I still thinks that it was Van der Decken that shoot Otohime.

I'm pretty sure Shirahoshi's dream is the same as here mothers, besides I'm sure she'd like to adventure the surface world. The only thing that really worries me is her size, I mean really she's just as big as sunny how is she suppose to adventure with them, unless she maybe rides a sea king, which would be pretty awesome.
Ok so I'm pretty sure Hodi is the one that killed Otohime, since he's the one that found the human who did it and since his hatred for humans is so bad that he'd kill any merperson who'd want to befriend a human

Regarding the travel issue, it's not really a problem since they travel across the sea which she can swim in next to the sunny if necesary and on land, doesnt the mermaids tail split around the age of 20 or 30 or so? Regarding the size problem, if Black Beard can have a giant the of the Marineford in his crew, then Luffy can have a Mermaid in the size of the Sunny.
