I would say read it, but there are gaps to be filled in the scanlation, so the anime might be a better choice.

I say read it, too. But I suggest you buy/borrow a solid copy of the book, because Del Rey's translation is what saved me from confusion on a lot of the hard-to-translate jokes.

Though I usually prefer manga, the anime adaptation of szs is quite good.

A quick question, If I watch the all three seasons of the anime including the OVA, what chapter do I continue on?
I'm about to finish season 3 and I want to continue reading where it leaves off.

I don't think the anime follows the manga's order, they probably just choose some from here and there.
The series doesn't have an overarching plot anyways.
