So manga became a hobby of mine around 15-16. InuYasha was the very first anime that kind of got me interested in the medium of anime and manga; this was when I was 7. I progressed from shounen (Naruto, One Piece etc.) to seinen (naturally), but never dared to start on shoujo or josei. Even though I was just a teen when I read it, I remembered I absolutely loved Otomo's Akira. Now, my favourites would have to be Ito's Uzumaki and Urasawa's 20th Century Boys.
