I'd be nice if 'Gekiga' would be added to to the current list of media types(Artboo, Manga, Manhu, OEL and so on)
Or maybe it could be added as genre, so that people could filter them. 🙂

Gekiga isn't a separate media type. It's still manga. It's just a term some dramatically-inclined creators adopted in the 80s because they didn't like how "manga" translates to "silly pictures". It's like how some comic creators call their work "sequential art". It's the same stuff - just more pretentious.

I think gekiga should be added as a genre. Since there are a few manga that are published in gekiga magazines. example: AX and Garo.
