There aren't any specific age requirements. I think it's up to the individual group's discretion, and you can basically find people of all sorts of ages. But I think if a group is working on something graphic like hentai titles, you have to be 18+. (At least you should be.)

Most groups usually don't care about your age. If you lack the experience, many groups will still accept you as long as you're dedicated, willing to learn, and can accept (sometimes rather harsh) criticism.

And as hatsumimi99 mentions, you should be comfortable with the actual content you're going into as well. Certain genres and demographics aren't for everybody, so know about what you're being asked to work on before actually doing it.
