i was just wondering, what most people use.. and how just how "fast your internet is"

i just figured out that some of the people on the irc channel's have dial-up.. i always thought the majority of the people who read manga have adsl or something faster...

as i have adsl.. its not quite working yet and im wating for it to get fixed so for now i use dial-up..

my dial up goes 52 kbps and my adsl is "supposedly" goes 2 mbps but right now its going.. about 30 kbps..

When in uni I have a 10Mb connection. During vacations (i.e. back home) I have a 1Mb ADSL.

I think the majority of people who are online are on broadband or better.

I'm on cable but I rarely download above 300 kB/s.

i've signed up for an 8MB broadband but I probably only get 2MB for some reason. i've read somewhere on the internet that they have over 10MB or higher speed in Korea

It's not TI it's T1-T3. T1-3 are basically super dedicated lines mainly used for schools and businesses. The speed ranges from 2mb(T1) to 135mb(T3 Dedicated).

For more information go to this site - http://www.testmy.net/tools/connection_chart.php

Myself am on something like OC-256 which is an internet backbone. The speed to my internet is 700gb/s.

My average download speed is about 10-20mb/s.

I used to have old school internet (dial-up)
And then my neighbor let me steal hers.
So now I have wireless.
Does that go in the "other" category?

What it means for cable ( 256 Kbps to 52 Mbps) is that it can go as slow as 256Kbps to as fast as 52Mbps. I've only seen cable go that fast in korea and some parts of europe. The average speed of cable in America is about 6-10Mbps.
