Best Marriage Proposal Ever

Alright, I don't know just how many of you guys here that are married or getting it on, or maybe are dating someone currently, I just want to share my view on this topic. I just got back from work and college and it was a really tiring kind of day today. My assignments are piling up with deadlines lining up, too, and to work on them, I've been skipping my job and my boss didn't like it very much economically, so, life is pretty much like hell right now.
So when I just barely strong enough to check new releases (I think I've been falling far behind the schedules), I found myself getting recovery on progress. Shingeki no Kyojin, One Piece, HunterXHunter (Jesus bless Togashi and his staff) and many more are coming flooding my desk. I was starting to forget every damn problem out there and began to enjoy this moment. But it was until I read the last release of Bakuman, that I finally could smile again.
It's especially on the story of proposing. I won't tell how the story goes though, it's best if you read it yourself. The idea of proposing for marriage is one of the most popular anecdotes spread in modern society today, and depends on how you carry it through, the act of proposing could be the greatest moment you ever did in your love life, so everlasting to tell to your grandchildren. Watching how Hiramaru, a clumsy, naive and simple-minded, egoistical yet honest, perfectly yet awkwardly tried to make the best proposal to Aoki, made me re-think that this world isn't so bad at all. Amusement park, candle light dinner, beach at dusk; expensive ring, cheap yet hard-to-get ring; even the way you do the ritual like the famous one-foot kneeling and the words you choose on proposing, there are many parts of the proposing that can tell someone how much they are loved and wanted to be with. Hiramaru, as clumsy and queasy as a hamster, isn't the man you'd pick to carry a good proposing act. And looking at Aoki, you'd think she deserves a better man. I thought so as well, but the authors are definitely not. When it comes to talent, compared to other big characters like Fukuda, Hiramaru isn't enough. But he's the damned luckiest of all. Not because of the way everything that happened to him, but because whenever it comes to Aoki, Hiramaru always puts anything else second. His honesty, as much as his clumsiness, brings to him much more happiness than to any one of his peers.
The story can go on for a long time, but I've learned something deep. It tells me that no matter who you are and what you do, as long as you are honest, you can do anything. I learned that the deadlines of my assignments are for me to get used to the working world, and my boss wouldn't have scold me if I could manage my time more carefully. I don't have a girl, since I'm really strict. But from some perspective, I'm not that far from Hiramaru's personality. I think if one day I have to propose to someone, I'd think about Hiramaru and get it on. 😀
How about you? Have you ever propose to someone, or think about it? How would you like to do it?
The woman I love, Kozue, burns with jealousy, leaps to conclusions, cries and turns to ice, but when she laughs..the world is mine.
