I think this was part of a collection of stories but I'm not sure, been trying to find it everywhere but can't remember the name

Summary: a young bookstore employee is once again frustrated over his 'businessman' boyfriend's lack of response to his phone text. His boyfriend is not very emotional, has a stoic face, but still comes by to check up on book stocks and slip in a note to meet with the overly-emotional and insecure boyfriend
He makes sure to always reassure his every worry
Bookstore employee is also curious at time to his boyfriend's profession and sometimes reads up on it
