Not sure why, the other day I was trying to update some of the images for mangas to more HQ covers and such, but no matter what the image would not update. I even waited an hour once and nothing. It's weird because it used to update them just fine but now it won't do anything. Just wondering what's happening. Thanks.

How large are the files you are trying to add?

Try compressing the file to 300x350 px (it can be a different size but that's the max).

Well, I just cropped the images and uploaded them. (Most of them being 1200x800)

I especially find it weird since it used to upload these just fine, but I guess I'll try uploading them after a resize, that may fix it.

Before... where you adding jpgs or pngs?

It happens sometimes for large png files but not for the same ratio in jpg.

Sorry, reveresed the size on the original post it was actually around 800x1200, not vice versa, anyways I was using PNG for the highest quality possible. The biggest I've gotten away with png is apparently 810x1200 at 1.81mb size it seems, so I guess anything bigger than that will get rejected.

Tried uploading a smaller image as a jpg on two different computers. Neither one worked. I'm not sure why it's not working, I was doing it just fine a few weeks ago.

What specific manga and image pair are you working with? If you don't mind, I'd like to take a look.

However, it failed no matter how many times I tried uploading it.

I was able to upload the image just fine right now so the issue is more than likely on your side. I unfortunately don't know exactly how the upload protocol works though, so I can't really give you any specific tips vis a vis where the bug is.

If I were to guess, the usual suspect is Javascript - check to see if this is enabled.

I checked several times on different computers as well, both at home, at school and at a friend's house. However, it seems doing it on a different browser worked, so I'll just do that from now on. Thanks for your cooperation during this, however may I recommend some sort of bar that shows the updater how the picture is loading and if any errors occur. It'd be pretty convenient.
