I suggest you read at least volume 4 extra chapter before vote cause you can misunderstand some character if you have not yet read that.

Wicked.
He's the childhood friend, no? (I'm not too sure...) Anyway, I think his love for the protagnist is more believable than the prof's. And I'm a sucker for childhood-friend-with-unrequited-feelings-for-the-protagonist, they almost always don't get the girl T__T
after i've read the extra, i can't really choose at the moment.but iff i hadn't read it, then it would've been Wicked.

I support Wicked. I guess Gui's love story didn't really made that big of an impact nor had that much credibility.

That was honestly a tough decision. In the end I support Wicked though. I guess I just really liked his extra story.

Wicked hands down. Hes way more awesome ingame and... uh.... outgame?
I find Gui to be annoying and abnoxious. even if that is an act, IRL I find him not nearly as fun and interesting as wicked.
Ofcourse, me being a guy, I would totally support and prefer a lolidragon hookup. not like that's ever gonna happen.

Gui! I like the fact that he thought Prince to be interesting and decided to mess with him. LMAO And then it became real. His story made me laugh. Wicked's story was sad and I felt sorry for him. 😛

Although I liked how Wicked's suddenly lost all his coolness whenever he got jealous of Prince being in the vicinity of any other guy. I also adored how Gui gave Prince "his" own space, repected and treated "him" more of an equal instead, which I think is incredibly rare and very cool especially in shoujo manga these days. 🤣
But yeah, I admit I would've liked Gui better if I didn't read his extra, it felt too... fake? Compared to Wicked, which seemed more romantic pitiable. 😛
tl;dr.
I like both. 😀

I really like both, but since Wicked was in love with shao lian for 8 years, i have to vote for Wicked

Gui is a thousend of times better than Wicked 😀 over exagerating Alot of people have pity of Wicked because he loved her for 8 years? How much years has Prince in that time? 10 or maybe 12? loser I vote for Gui who can respect Prince the way she is and understands her personality better. Well... and Gui is a bard aka poet with pretty hair what more do you need? XD õhhh! And his funny personality suits better with Prince. 😀 😀 😀
A lot of peole has liked more the Wiched extra but I actually no (like you probably had guesed). Coments like "A very pure love" apear very often. I think is unrealistic that he has loved here for 8 years without seeing here most of the time. She has changed alot and I think he has to understand this. Gui extra is more natural he goes to the game flirts with a "boy" (this thinks happen in games when we don't know the person in real life) and then fall in love. 🙂
Why protect them? Why miss them? Why love them?

Gui.
Wicked is doing what is very common for childhood-friends-turned-love-interests, in that he is romanticizing his memories of the very young, innocent Prince. While Gui's special is focused on the recent past, Wicked is obsessing over the ten/eleven year old girl who wanted to marry him. That girl, needless to say, no longer exists, because she did the clever thing and got over her meaningless crush on the nice next-door neighbor. Let's see: they met in-game as Wicked and Prince before he learned Prince's real identity. Could even Wicked see any of his little girl in Prince when he had no particular reason to believe it was her? No; but (and here's the telling part) Prince's character is consistent with hers IRL. Speaking charitably, Wicked loves the person she used to be; uncharitably, he loves his own heterosexuality to the point where a different presentation of the same basic person is treated as an entirely separate entity. Nevertheless Wicked continues to assert his 'ownership' of Prince and the wonderfulness of their unbreakable bond, blatantly missing that while he wasn't looking, Prince grew up a lot.
Gui, on the other hand, is crushing one of the purest crushes known to fiction and mankind: one that transcends appearance and even (perceived) gender and is based solely on Prince's actions. True, his special did smack of retcon, in terms of justifying his so far super-insane and fabulously gay actions as actually intelligent and heterosexual, but I just like the notion of a silly prank snowballing into Twu Wuv. Gui feels, at this point, that Prince could be anyone and it wouldn't matter in the least to him because he doesn't care what body parts Prince has. He loves Prince more than his perceived sexual identity.
I'd like to touch on the dynamics of the two potential relationships before finishing up here. Wicked/Prince is, as many have pointed out, the manga classic romance that stems from child love. I feel (in most cases) that this unfairly legitimizes whatever it is children feel for each other and does not allow characters to develop away from their younger selves and into mature adults who are more or less unconnected with their infantile younger selves. Gui/Prince is another common pairing, teacher/student, and my god but this is the only thing that keeps me from getting behind the Guince banner one hundred percent because it squicks me the hell out. In real life teacher/student romantic relationships are generally unrelated to actual human emotions beyond possible lust, have unhealthful power dynamics, and boast really creepy age gaps that are, in practical terms, impossible to cross completely. That's my emotional reaction to the general idea behind the pairing generally; logically and in this specific case, I can see that their professions aside, Gui and Prince are an excellent pair and where they are in life shouldn't change that.
I know, I know. tl;dr. My bad. Please enjoy this essay. I have more to say on the subject.

Gui, can't help it =P He became way too interesting once we got to know his real personality and why he approached Prince.

Hoseki, i like that you actually explained it out in such a detailed explination. I'd like to elaborate where you talk about the student teacher relationship

In game, there is none of that dynamic. Gui only knows the prince from the game. He really has no interest in student Fen Lang. This shows that the teacher/student relationship doesn't exist in the typical form between the two. Gui only is interested in Prince's personality. That's All.
So my vote goes for Gui, because he cares about Prince as prince is currently, not some fantisized childhood crush that has died. Wicked should've given up when he followed Fen Lang home and she didn't even remember him, let alone that they were childhood crushes.
