Ok, luckily for some of us who don't have any money, there are WoW free servers.

Do any of you go on them? If so, which ones? Whats your character(s). What do you like/dislike about them?

I go on AniWoW (Kohona US), personally. I just started going on it a few days ago. It has 40x Exp, and doesn't lag as much as some of the others do. Not to mention it doesn't go down very often. I have a level 45 Blood Elf hunter on it. =D Sadly, I still don't have a mount, seeing as I haven't located any good humanoids to farm yet. Imma so poor though. Only 60silver and 48 copper. -Shakes head- All my monies always go to training my skills, and I can't even buy all of them.

NOTE: Don't ask me how to access a free server. I have no idea. My brother did it.

Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

I stopped going to them last year.
I still do lol at those bugs they have.
As for servers... I am the kind
of guy who switches servers every
week or second day.

free servers are really gay for those who become pro at retail WoW first, conversely retail WoW is really gay for those who become pro at free servers first.
Here's an example:
In WoWscape, the servers are really easy to level. The closest to blizzard rates on free server is 3x exp 3x loots and garunteeded every item to drop from bosses (i.e Illidan drops all his items including both Warblades of azzinoth). The bosses aren't even scripted so as soon as you hit 70 u can go from green gear to T6. Another annoying thing are the server crashes, lag, and glitches. Did you know rogues could crit 6k on PLATE armor? As well as Hunters can crit 3k on each multishot. This was what i picked up from playin both retail and private servers. Not all privates are like this, but they're all garunteed to have their own stupid quirks and bugs. I'd still rather pay $15s a month.

Yeah. The bugs and downtimes ARE annoying. Not to mention I REALLY miss my level 32 troll hunter on the real one. T_T She was the best.

If I had the cash, I'd probably still have it now... I'm defiantly going to get the real server in the summer.

I have been playing on the BurningWoW free servers lately on the blizzlike one (1x exp and loot) and its been fun.
The main problems that I find with the servers is that they are all quite buggy. A lot of quests do not work, broken spells and more...

If you can put up with the buggyness of the servers I think they are great 🙂 .

because of some changes in my arena team, I play resto shaman now (of course he is a cow), put all S3 elemental equips into bank /cry. My brother playing a rogue, and a friend of mine play warrior.

we used to play 5v5 arena with me as elemental till our priest quit, then I need to switch into resto, grinding the gear all over again for 3v3, currently we are sitting at 1900 rating.

not really since they kick and stunlock all the time and myself do bearly any dmg since I´m holy.

ah I c, warriors own rogues, it's funny to see them try to beat me (especially PVP speced)

i tried a free server but the only real good part of WoW is the interaction of the other players and the pvp so an empty free server is pretty boring to play on.
