Lineart drawing techniques

Anyone have any suggestions for a beginning/amateur starting to draw lineart?
Especially drawing lines - I usually draw sketchy lines (drawing multiple little lines to form a single line - I'll refer to this as "sketching") rather than one stroke, but apparently, that's not the right way to do it: http://radiantdreamer.net/photoshop-tutorials/how-to-draw-better-line-art/.
However, when I look at this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-6TZLQWsRU&feature=relmfu, the artist is "sketching" the face, even though she uses definite strokes for the hair. So is "sketching" still used even if you're a good artist?
Also, any tips for drawing manga hair? I want a style similar to the one shown in the video, or Kurosaki from Dengeki Daisy, or Hajime from Cosplay Animal (guys with messy hair = my type). How would I learn how to draw all the soft, spiky strands?
Tips appreciated!

Personally, I use sketchy lines. Many of my art teachers actually prefer it...however I am more of a realistic artist, and it is just my style. 🤣
Manga style does side with the beautiful one stroke though. I would say it takes a lot of practice to have a steady hand to accomplish them~I have a friend who is quite an accomplished line artist, but she's always drawing/practicing whenever I see her.
If you notice in your first link, the artist uses sketchy lines in pencil before going over them in ink.
I wouldn't say there is a wrong or right way to do it. There are just multiple techniques you can use to get the desired effect.

I think rather then reading and getting tips, just practicing will get you further. ^^

This.
You gotta find your own style. It's not "wrong" to have a sketchy style, but it's not exactly "right" either.
I have no tips on "how to draw". As long as you know how it should look like, it matters not what steps you take to get there, as long as you meet the end result.
Use references. See how other artists draw them. Take what you can get from them and make it your own.
