After the search, order by year or add
&orderby=year
to the url and then after page 2 you can change the page number on the url. I usually put 100 per page.

If you just want popular old manga, you can check the lists of an old admin or a random user that has an old series you like on their public list (for that go to a popular series you like and check out List Stats).

The problem is the limit search of 100 after that the list just stops as to what year it is the older ones cannot be searched. That is the issue.
