Is anyone here into the Disgaea series as much as I am? (Or has even played it?) I can't wait for Disgaea 3 to come out at the end of this month. 😀

This is the first time I hearing about the game. What genre and platform does it come under ?

i liked the series for its gameplay, characters, and story and it never was an issue of graphics, but if they were gonna make it standard definition why not release it for the ps2. they're putting it on a blu-ray and with the amount space left after putting the game in, they can easily make it 1080p.

It's is turn-based strategy RPG. The first two are for PS2, the third coming out for PS3. The first one has also been ported to PSP and DS.

Yeah, I agree. It really would be easier if they could at least release it for ps2 instead, but I guess they have their own reasons. :/ Oh well.

I really liked disgaea and disgaea 2 sadly while I did collect all nippon ichi games, they weren't as great as the disgaea series. Especially disgaea one. Unfortunately, I don't have a PS3 so I can't play Disgaea 3 though from what I've seen in trailers it wouldn't have hurt if they decided to upgrade the graphics a little instead of sticking with the old sprites.

i'm just saying, you're gonna be paying 60 bucks for 40 bucks worth of content. hell im pretty sure they coulda fit the game on a UMD.

I'm definitely going to get Disgaea 3. I loved the first two (and every other SRPG N1 has released over here).

I don't care that it's PS3 and still has sprite based graphics. It's still gonna rock. Considering the wealth of things to do in DIsgaea titles, 60 bucks doesn't seem over priced to me.
