It should work that way right now. If you order your list by rating, others will see it in that order. Unfortunately there isn't a way to set sorting on your public lists different from your private lists.

nope... sorting by rating is excluded for public lists, it shows perfectly for you, but others always see it alphabetically sorted...
but I'd really appreciate it if it would be possible to sort public lists by rating too
