Could anyone help me find the name of a manga I read a while back? I'm pretty sure it was shounen, and the basic premise was of this (alternate universe?). Basically, in this world, every species of animal has its own language, and well, humans don't exist. Because none of the animals understand each other, its pretty much an eat or be eaten world. Until a human boy, the protagonist, somehow ends up there. Humans can speak every animal's language, and the boy swears to somehow make animals stop eating each other with his power of language. He has an adopted animal mother (she's this weird small thing), and a (panther?) friend. He also meets this other female human who leads a pack of lions. That's all I remember. If anyone knows the title, please tell me!
