Looking for this old fantasy manga i read a long time ago that also had a sequel series. I believe it might have been published by TokyoPop.

The silver hair (?) deuteragonist, soon to be hero, travels with a black hair woman to slay the demon lord. What the hero doesn't know is his travel companion is the demon lord (queen). She makes no attempt to kill him but just joins along for the fun. Along the way they develop a very close friendship and I think the woman ends up falling in love with him. Something happens towards he end where she fells ill and has to be transported somewhere. One of the hero's companion is aware of her true identity and i believe takes her away in come carriage?

The artstyle was very similar to 90s/2000s Korean style manhwa but I'm pretty sure it was a Japanese series.
