for an anime adaptation of a manga you like, what turns you off the most?
-the drawing style is (slightly) different
-the story wanders off the original
-skipped scenes and details due to episodes quota
-wrong voice actors
-the anime episodes are more updated than the scanlated manga

Oh god, that last option makes me cry blood quite often. I don't like watching Anime but some manga scalations just jump trough the chapters the anime already covers ;_;.

Love them, It's the cute detail the manga needed

What I'm hoping to ask for here isn't the very first impression, but rather the main reason why you are interested in picking up a manga or not.

I'm noticing a current theme with this week's poll. The most hated are Yaoi, Hentai, Yuri, and Shoujo so far. What is the difference between male and female for each of those statistics?
So the poll would go:
My most hated demographic is:
Shoujo and I'm male
Shoujo and I'm female
Shounen and I'm male
Shounen and I'm female
Seinen and I'm male
Seinen and I'm female
on through all the demographics.
Or you could leave out all but the top four or five demographics (currently Yaoi, Hentai, Yuri, Shoujo, and Shounen Ai) and then leave an 'other' option for those that voted on the other demographics.
My guess is that "Yaoi and I'm male" would win followed by "Hentai and I'm female". Or possibly "Yuri and I'm female" could win second place. Not sure, but it would be an interesting case study in gender differences. Please. Now I'm really curious.
