In your opinion, when has a manga outlived its welcome? Alternatively: How long is too long for a manga series? At around:
15 volumes
25 volumes
50 volumes
75 volumes
100 volumes
125 volumes
150 volumes
175+ volumes

Feel free to modify these numbers.

All because I recently saw that the longest running manga recently ended Sept 2016: Kochikame at a whopping 200 volumes.
There are other long-running manga that are at 117 volumes (Jojo), 94 volumes (Detective Conan), 184 volumes (Golgo 13), etc. Naruto ended at 72 volumes, and even now has a sequel.
When do you think enough is enough? I know some will say it depends on the story, chapter length, etc. but even then, the author may run out of ideas and the story will just drag. You'll start to wonder whether you'll still be alive when the series ends!

How do you take filler?

-Okay as long as its only a couple chapters

-Unacceptable!

-As long as it adds to something about the story

-Crossovers can be good

-Don't care I'll read it anyway

-Yeah! More of my favorite story/characters

Usually when a story is adapted to a different medium, such as a manga being made into an anime or anime into a live-action, we can expect the story to be changed in some way. Because of this most usually prefer the original medium that stays true to the author's vision.
