Isekai series have been around for a while. Inuyasha, Fushigi Yuugi, etc. But within the last 4 years or so, the amount of series with this plot exploded. A LN magazine contest even barred would-be writers from submitting these types of stories.

What is your opinion on the amount of "isekai" stories (being transported/reincarnated to another world) being released:

• was fun at first, the trend needs to die now
• I'm enjoying the trend, keep them coming
• Fine, as long as it doesn't have RPG/game elements (like classes, level systems, etc. )
• No opinion
