Just by looking at the title of a series or a volume cover image, can you determine the demographic or genre of the series?

How about a switch up to:
Just by looking at the volume cover image, can you determine the country of origin of the series?

Granted the title isn't on the image, which could give away its original country of origin.
I don't know about others, but I feel there's a difference between Chinese, Korean and Japanese art. I'm only listing those 3 as they make up the majority of releases.

So I was watching Family Guy when they made a disabled joke (hiding something from the paraplegic by strapping it to the back of his wheel chair) and it occurred to me that it wasn’t offensive because it was factual. So I was wondering if others would agree with me or not.

Is a joke about a group of people (handicapped, an ethnicity, a religion or orientation) acceptable if it is based on proven facts and not a stereotype?
