What do you do with your calendar after the year has ended?
-I throw it away
-I repurpose it (such as cutting out the pictures for scrapbooking, or cutting out blank pieces for scratch notes)
-I actually still keep it*
-I don't use paper calendars

  • This was what inspired me to come up with the poll. I've always thought everyone throws out their calendars, but apparently some people still keep theirs. I've even seen used calendars being sold online because they were considered collector's items (including anime/manga themed calendars).

  • I like it
  • I'm indifferent to it
  • I don't like it but still do it anyway
  • I don't like it and I don't do it either

5-8 weeks ago (last month)
Some time this year (2024)
2023
2022
2021
2020
2019
before 2019

How often do you leave your phone at home voluntarily when you went out?

You're very talented at a skill/subject you don't really like. You're also very bad at another skill/subject, but you're very passionate about it. Which one do you continue developing, if you only have enough time for one of them?

-The one I'm very good at but don't enjoy
-The one I'm very bad at but enjoy

I obviously got this idea from Bokuben, a romcom series where a talented writer wants to major in science, and a STEM genius wants to major in literature.

I've wondered how real people would tackle this dilemma. Me personally, I did not pursue my passion because it was a riskier career move.

The main character won the love interest! Now timeskip to the future, and they're one happy family. What should the kids look like?

-Smaller/younger versions of their parents (e.g. son is what dad would've looked like as a kid)
-Gender-swapped versions of their parents (e.g. daughter is what dad would've looked like as a girl)
-Palette-swapped versions of their parents (e.g. son looks just like dad, but with mom's hair/eye color)
-Exact copies of their parents with minor adjustments (e.g. son looks just like dad, but wears glasses or has a different hairstyle)
-Just age up the parents and make the kids carbon copies (e.g. son is practically a clone of dad, and dad is just himself with a mustache)
-Original design with no resemblance to either parent

I've read a lot of manga and watched a lot of anime where characters grow up and have kids. I've seen every variation of this.

Quote from Afiaki

A group is releasing high quality scans for a series but at a snail’s pace. Meanwhile, a low quality scans group keeps up with the raws at lightning speed. Do you:

⚪️ Read ahead, despite the overall poor quality and translation
⚪️ Resist the urge and patiently wait weeks, just to read each chapter in its best quality

Poll suggestion and options

Does colored manga/manhwa-ua/webtoon etc make a difference?

Definitely agree: I only read full colour.
Somewhat agree: I like coloured and would prefer it.
Neutral: Either is fine as long as I like the plot and art.
Somewhat Disagree: It doesn't matter but it is always nice to see my favourites in colour.
Definitely Disagree: Colour has no impact on how I choose what to read.

Do you jaywalk at crosswalks if there are no vehicles in sight or do you always wait for the crossing signal?

  • I always wait for the crossing signal even if there is no one else around (no jaywalking ever)
  • I will jaywalk if there is no cars around and I feel it is safe (Situational jaywalker)
  • I expect everyone else to avoid me so I walk when and where I want (jaywalking all the time)

--the wording on this still needs work
