Common misconception about introverts and extroverts. Introvents get drained from interacting with other people and need time alone to recharge, extroverts get drained by being alone and need to interact with people to recharge. Whether one enjoys company or being alone, wants to meet new people or is shy etc. is irrelevant.

Also it's not either or, it's a spectrum, so there should be a "somewhere in the middle" option.
