You want a poll? I will give you a good one -
You think the manga/manhwa business is sustainable (or profitable) with web toons dominating?
1 No web toons have blown them out of the water
2 Yes they are the real deal and they will see out the web toons 'phase'
3 Don't care as long as I get a good read
I came up with this when I read Veritas was canned after the author dropped it because he could not make a living out of it
😔 sad really.

Do you think that mangaka can produce a high quality manga targeted towards opposite of their gender. Eg Male mangaka = Shoujo, Josei, Female mangka = Shounen
- No, they wouldn't quite capture what the opposite gender wants
- Yes, they bring something new to the genre
- Sometimes
- Rarely
I'm really sorry I'm just bad with words. (._. )

How much do you like a manga to detour from the main plot?
A-None stick to the story
B-The occasional one chapter side story
C-Entire side arcs
D-Any amount if its good
E-Don't care as long as it doesn't interrupt the good parts
example: a manga about winning a tournament.
A-the story sticks only to the tournament.
B-every now and then the story takes a chapter to check in on a character who lost that's not important to the plot.
C-once or more there is an entire arc like one of the enemies goes of and has an adventure for a few chapters that is irrelevant to the plot(flashbacks don't count since they tend to add to the characters)
D-there are either B or C and they are as good as the main plot.
E-OK this can be one of the most annoying things the Hero and the Villain are about to have the final battle when it cuts out to show a detour of what everyone else is doing, even if its a good detour the timing just completely ruins it

When a series comes out with a sequel with an alternate plot/different main characters, do you:
Read the sequel to continue enjoying the series
Ignore the sequel since it's not, the same characters/continuing the original story
I could go either way

If you come across a manga where the art is in a different style to what you are used to, would you still read it?
Yes, it doesn't make a difference
Yes, although it would always bother me
Maybe, I'd give it a try
No, I can't stand "weird" art

When you catch up with an ongoing series do you :
-Read every new chapter as it comes out
-Wait until a bunch of new chapters are out
-You only read completed manga...

Taking into account the resent drama poll maybe:
How much Echi does a good manga needs
-A LOT, More Panty shots please!
-Enough to make it funny
- NONE, i'm tired of mangas that depend only on this and won't try to have an actual story (To Love Ru Darkness much?)

When choosing to start reading a new series what influences you (most) to pick that series
It's a completed series (with ongoing translation)
It's a completed + translated series
The author or artist
The scanlation group translating it
The frequency it comes out
Reviews/good ratings/recommendations
It's tags and categories
Other, please comment

I decided to create two poll questions based solely on racial conflicts.
Hopefully they get accepted.
1.** In manga, do you notice racial stereotype when it comes to skin/race/gender?**
-Nope, never did.
-Always, and I hate it!
-Always, but it's kinda funny!
-Sometimes, not a big deal.
- In manga, do you consider the majority of characters Asian?
-Always do.
-No, they look Caucasian.
-Only when portrayed in Asian society.
