And I don't mean like 10 seconds. But actually watching 5-10 episodes at least. I'm still a "youngin", so I don't have a lot of experience there. I think for me it would be the old Dragon Ball. laugh

Either Gigantor (US debut 1966) or Speed Racer (US debut 1967). I didn't watch them then, but those are the oldest ones that I've seen.

Yeah, it's the same with me, but I've only seen 4-5 episodes or so of Gigantor. I watched pretty much all of Speed Racer though.

My first anime was probably
Jungle Taitei (Kimba the white lion 1965) but since there are at least two versions out there you cant really be sure ^^
Next following would then be Attack No.1 (known as Mila Superstar in Germany where I am living - 1969) So i think i have watched a fair share of both, old school and new anime ^^

Mila Superstar 1969
Lady Oscar 1979

Although I am not into shoujo...those two animes were awesome.
I watched them during my childhood.

Gigantor was the first anime I ever watched.
I remember watching an episode when I was one... or two.

oh, ultra fail.

vision of escaflowne probably. that's like... 1996. (pathetic!!)

admittedly none of the tv i ever watched had any old anime showing, and by the time i really got into anime i was busy keeping up with newer series recommended by friends (especially since they're easier to get hold of). i can't say i've ever had much of a desire to watch older series but i did enjoy escaflowne a lot.
