Revive polygyny? Did it die out? It's still around, here and there in the world. Sure we should, compare the male population to the female population, that way, no lady will be left out. (That was a joke)

But yeah, personally, I'd rather have 1 wife. I just find it more loving that way. But some people have their reasons for polygyny, I'm not against polygyny. Injustice by the male towards the females is likely, and does happen. That's the only problem (in my opinion).

If you can treat the ladies fairly and equally, then go ahead, knock yourself out.

Sure, I don't think it's ethical to tell people what they can/can't do in their personal life.

I'll be honest, iunno about most guys, but I've had fantasies of having multiple women... But in reality though, what woman would want to share her mate with another woman and vice versa. Also... you must freaking wealthy to feed all those mouthes... best of luck to ya.

I don't think it'll be healthy for the population. Eventually there'll be a higher chance of inbreeding when a town's population is made up of a man and his 50+ wives and his 150+ children and his brother's 50+ wives and his 150+ children.... and so on.

As long as it's a relationship where all involved are consenting adults, I don't really have a problem with plural marriage, whether that's one man with several wives or one woman with several husbands. Let people do what makes 'em happy~

However, as much work as it takes to have a good/healthy/happy relationship between two people, I would think adding another person would make it close to impossible, so on a practical level, I don't think it would work out well most of the time.

The biggest problem with polygamy as it's practiced in the US (don't know about other places) is that it VERY often involves very young girls being married to older men regardless of whether they want to be married or not, which is just plain wrong (and all kinds of icky as well 🤢 ).

For myself, I can't imagine being willing to share a husband with another woman, or wanting more than one husband for myself.

Er, I'm not sure how well that'd work out in America. Maybe in third world countries where their social customs dictate that women be complacent and submissive. However, the true nature of women..is very territorial and jealous. Er, yeah.
