I never went to high school (longish story short: middle school -> college)
How'd you skip high school?
Anyways, this year, I've basically got senioritis and stopped working. It's funny... 'cause my grades still aren't bad. Just a little lower than before. (Mostly As, a B here and there).

Community colleges take just about anyone, and once you've taken some classes there you can transfer to just about anywhere you might want to go, unless you are for some reason dead set on an ivy league type school. As for why, one day towards the end of 8th grade all my teachers got together with my parents and told them that I should not be in a normal school and that they should take me out and find somewhere else to educate me. College has since proven to be a very good choice. And to preempt any questions about where I am going: Portland State.

I don't think that's the case everywhere. I'm pretty sure that some states require passing the tests in order to graduate from HS (Washington state, for one, and Idaho's moving that direction).
I could be wrong; it's been years & years since I was in HS & my kids are still in elementary so I haven't paid that much attention to it, but I'm pretty sure that passing the tests is in WA and will be in ID, required for graduation.
Yes that is correct, I go to high school in Washington and as far as I've been told you have to pass all parts of the WASL, except science, in order to graduate. Though you have three attempts to pass if you fail, or something like that.
While this is true, I know in California the high school exit exam is a complete joke, and basically only tests your ability to speak the English language (which I unfortunately think may actually be the point). The math doesn't really go beyond basic geometry and the critical reading section asks blatantly obvious questions. I have never actually heard of anyone from my school failing to pass it.
I wish Washington's was like that. While it may not be the hardest test, it's kind of confusing in the way they word things. The only part I have trouble with is the writing portion of the test, barely failed it back in seventh grade by one point, everything else is pretty easy. Yet people still complain about it. I just wish graduating didn't depend on it.

I picked the first one. Normally I don't get F's, but I failed Bio last semester. My mom hasn't found out yet, but when she does, you're probably not gonna be seeing me around this forum very often.
Glados is a bitch. She made me kill the companion cube, the only friend I'll ever have. 😢

Erm really good I guess. I'm a senior now and I'm about to graduate in two weeks, currently ranked in the top five in my school. .___. That's a 96.31 average. XDD
It helped that I took all those classes in my country already. xD.
So yeah, good enough to get a scholarship for UCLA. O_O

Wow. Um. So far my lowest grade is an A-. But no, I'm not a huge genius...I have to work my ass off hahaha
Over here the grades go from A to D, a D is a fail I've had one D but in the rest of my subjects I only got A's and B's. 😀

I had really good grades until senior year, but I still did well and didn't get below an 80 in anything. During that year I found something much more interesting than school. Probably didn't help that I wasn't going to college, couldn't afford it and couldn't get financial aid.

Top of my class in primary school, exactly at the half of my class in middle school, and among the last in HS. 😐
Like any healthy student, I had grades ranging from 2 to 10 (think MU rating system) but, on average, my grades are perfect in some classes and near-failing in others. 🤣
i had my share of Cs but colleges sometimes overlook such things
I was the top in elementary, top in middle. I was #3 freshman year, then I crapped out my sophomore year. I now rank around the middle.

well i had bad bad grade before ( like general note of 7 / 20 or something like that )
and then i choose to stop school and self study, and i have to say that was so more easy than school ( well with good book tough : ).
I learned one thing like that : school book suck like hell ( at least in france ).
I was decent in elementary school.
Middle school I was in the mid B and low A.
In high school.
I was considered smart or so they say.
Never considered myself smart, though.
Also never really exerted myself that much.
But managed an average of 99 point something, something .
And a GPA of 3.9 something, something.
Even managed to be number 10 of my class.
Got a piece of wood for that.
