Rio Karma. It still has quite possibly the best SQ out of the headphone out (and I don't feel like lugging an amp around to use the line out) and a very good equalizer despite being discontinued at least a year ago (I don't remember exactly when).

Oh wow, if iPods are up to 160GBs I may have to look into getting one, I might actually be able to fit my entire library onto it.

A 20 gb Cowon iAudio X5 - hasn't failed me yet so I'm satisfied.

Creative Zen Sleek Photo, 20gb. A proud owner, it's big enough so that I'm not afraid to break it and small enough to fit in my pocket. It doesn't play videos, but I wouldn't watch them from a screen that small anyway. Plus, I love it's metallic corpus.
I'm a iPod hater really, seriously though, when I wanna go up or down on my list I have to make circular motions with my thumb, c'mon 😀 And the fact that so many refer to all mp3 players as iPods makes me sad, 'cause it means they've yet to discover better brands due to Apple hyping up all their products. My sis had an iPod Shuffle, that broke down some time ago and had many problems prior to that. Now she has a Creative Zen Stone. Much better looking and performing.

Sansa e250 2GB, but has a microSD slot for when I finally decide to give it more space. Picked it up cheap on woot, so it's nice to not have to worry about it getting scratched. Also, my Axim and laptop. I'm with story645; what's the point in carrying around another device if one I'm already using can play my music for me.

I'm using my old 4G, 20 GB iPod again after it mysteriously broke down and fixed itself but I was borrowing my sister's 2G, 2 GB iPod nano. I could care less about all the other music players since I love the aesthetic of the iPod.

I'm afraid my iPod will break down again but I'm waiting it out for the 7G Classic.

I just hacked my iTouch to play awesome codecs like FLAC, OGG, MKV and other different media types. Nothing beats lossless music quality (although it's largely lost cuz of the shitty ipod headphones).

I'd try that, but I've heard FLAC takes up such a frightening amount of space that my shuffle would die-plus the whole lousy quality. It's not just headphones-from what I've told it's hardware level, and something the iriver avoids. I've got a friend who built a lil amp that's bigger than his player to try and get better quality (he's also got an iriver and shiny noise isolating expensivish headphones).

Well it's lossless so yes it takes up a lot of space. I change songs on my touch practically every day so it doesnt affect me at all. I usually have like 300-1000 songs on my touch at any given day.

Cellphone should have been a choice. 😃
