It's probably seinen, dark fantasy a bit gore and i'm sure it's not isekai theme.. the vibe like berserk or claymore..

But yes that's not the manga i search, it's old manga but not classic..

I'll ask if you remember any more details. Was the main character a male or female? Does "samurai" mean they looked like a samurai or did they just wield a katana? Do you remember what were the enemies like (human, insect, plant, alien, etc.)?
