Well it seems like the kind of thing someone has created a topic on before but I couldn't find one so if there are any please post links for me ne~
I have two similar requests:
1. As the title suggests I'm looking for a manga centred around a single dude preferrably some kind of playboy type character but any is ok, who gets a knock on the door one day (or something similar) by a small child or a teenager and is told they are a parent.
Please don't suggest shotacon/lolicon and if there is romance included no yuri/shoujo ai please.
Any romance I would prefer would not be between the child and father (so no incest)
And I don't want it so the guy finds out he is actually not the child/teenager's parent cuz that wud suck (like a Korean drama I watched once) it has to be the truth.
2. Also appreciated would be manga that are not centred on the above kind of scenario but do include the theme somewhere in the manga
Please suggest completely scanlated manga cuz I hate waiting.

Otaku no Musume-san

This manga is very good and fits your first request. I'd check it out - it's one of my favorites.

My Girl (SAHARA Mizu) and Usagi Drop would be a good manga to read.

Not technically a parent, but probably fits what you want enough: Aishiteruze Baby

Cheers everybody ^^ how about a mother-son pairing (not romantically, i mean a manga with the mother being the surprise parent)?

Sakende Yaruze! is about a voice actor who suddenly learns that he has a teenage son. There is BL content, but not between the father and the son.

It's kind of hard for the mother not to know that she has a child. Unless maybe the story involves some changelings or amnesia.

It's not completely scanlated... and the releases are kinda far apart... You might also not like it because of the theme, but it fits the sudden mother-child requirement.

Kodomo no Kodomo

Hmm yeah shame that not a lot of chapters are out although I think the storyline is seriously unrealistic so I'm not in so much of a rush to read the rest but I did hear the movie was a lot better, you wouldn't happen to know where I could view it would you?
