Do you believe that we're the only ones out here in this vast universe or do you think there are other beings out there besides us?

I can't image that we are the only ones out there. It would be strange to think that Earth is the only planet with living beings. What do you all think?

There's definately somethin' else out there, but that they have technology and are studying us in UFO's is pretty questionable.

Yeah. The universe is so much bigger than we can ever comprehend, and with our current technology there's no way we can be sure that we're the only living things that exist.

I don't believe in those "ufo sightings" in TV though. Those things can be easily faked.

Well, I don't think they look like the grey aliens
and I doubt they visit earth, use teleports,
photon beams and such.
The amount of room in the outer space
gives big odds for other creatures to exist.
There are billions
of nebulae, planets, stars and thus I believe
that there are living things out there.

I believe there are somewhere, but I highly doubt that they have high enough technology which allow them to travel between galaxy so easy. It wont happen.

There are clearly aliens out there somewhere, although most likely not stereotypical ones.

Then again, I like to subscribe to the "infinite universe, finite number of combinations of matter" theory, which would say that if it is possible for stereotypical aliens to exist, then they do.

And do you think they would want to do it? I'm sure their reaction to us, an unknown race they found on their universe exploration (we can't asume we will be the ones with greater technology), will be the same as ours. They will see us as uncivilized barbarians, they will not understand our languages, our writing and our customs. We will be afread of each other.
In my opinion, the first thing we have to do, if we find some proof of existence advanced's alien race, is begin with armament, building military bases on the Earth, the orbit, the Moon and every piece of usable floating piece of rock in the near space. Make thousand of satelites and space mines in solar system. And be prepared for everything! We'll have to make strong defence! Because we CAN'T assume they will be friendly!
Of course, they can be, but it's really uncertain! We have to expect them like ourselves (in the fact we can't even do anything else).
Just look at Aztec and Maya peoples! They greeted Spains with opened hands and how they ended? (and they arent only one case in human's history)

I think they exist, and they might be even here already.

For all we know they could be posting in MU from their UFOs in an attempt to study humanity. I always found weird that in the user profile you can choose "Alien" as gender.......
