I'm looking for recommendations for mangas or novels where the romance element is strong (even if it isn't the primary aspect) and where the female MC is a subordinate of the male MC.
"Subordinate" not as in a secretary-director dynamic but something more on the lines of military rank or superior with power over the MC. Bullying and tsundere male mcs are preferred.
As an example I may offer Toshokan Sensou - Love & War.

Maybe try Tokyo Crazy Paradise? It's not military based, but it does have a strong female lead that definitely fits the subordinate tag (In the sense that they see each other as equals). Rather than it involving the military, the Male Lead's family owns a yakuza group (Japanese mafia) and the Female Lead is his bodyguard.
