Hey guys,
I want to read the Slayers manga series, but I can't figure out the chronological order of the series. Can anybody help me out?

There are times when you will miss what you never had. I wonder how you will find what you so desperately need.

1-Slayers
2-Choubaku Mahouden Slayers
3-Slayers Special
4-Slayers: Suiriyuuou no Kishi
5-Slayers Premium

Well, that's the release order but chronologically the story splits into different continuities.

Read Choubaku Mahouden Slayers then read Slayers: Knight of Aqualord

Slayers Premium is the adaptation of a movie from the anime continuity.
Slayers is some random side stories.
Slayers Light Magic is some sorta spin off.
Shin Slayers: Falces no Sunadokei is another continuity, ignoring Aqualord, and starting after the main series

And Slayers Special(along with the movies and OVAs) is the shared backstory that doesn't really matter much.

Oh, and the TV show is Slayers, Next, Try, Premium, Revolution, Evolution-R. But that's not really relevant at all.

I just tough the author might have a reason for the release order....

Haven't you heard of those anime series that make more sense if you watch them in broadcast order instead of the episode order?

Slayers isn't one of them.
