Kodomo no Jikan Anime's Return Announced

The wraparound jacket band on the eighth volume of Kaworu Watashiya's Kodomo no Jikan comedy manga is announcing this month that the anime adaptation of the manga will be returning. No further details have been provided yet.

The manga was already adapted into a television series in 2007, and an "unairable" episode was bundled with the fourth volume of the manga. A second series, Kodomo no Jikan Nigakki, shipped on DVD last year.

The Earl.Box website reports that the ninth volume of the manga will ship in Japan with a new original anime DVD in January 2011.
