I remember there being a manga with a poor, maybe homeless, girl that got taken in or saved by a guy. Anyone knows the name or anything similar?

If you're looking for a specific title, we really need more to go on.

If you're just interested in this scenario in general, you could try Hige o Soru. Soshite Joshikousei o Hirou.

Still need more info either way in order to help you find something you'd be interested in.

Unfortunately that is all I kind of remember. I think when he meets her in the first chapter, he meets her outside in the rain, and that's when he takes her in. I'm not 100% on it having been raining though, haha.

I am interested in similar series however so I'm thankful for your replies either way!

Its probably not it, but it kind of reminded me of Taimashi to Akuma-chan

There is a category "Taken in by Strangers" maybe you’ll get lucky when looking through it

Not these either, thank you though!

Thanks for the category tip, I went and checked all of them under that category out but none of them was the one that I'm looking for. I'm starting to lose hope 😢

Do you remember what genre it was? Shounen, shoujo, josei? Or if it was more of a European setting or Japanese? Would help narrow it down

So is it definitely a multi-chapter work, or could it be a oneshot? Roughly how long ago did you read it?

I know of a couple of oneshots that could be it - Zanuff the Butcher or the second chapter from Hallucination from the Womb - but I expect you'd remember more details if it were either of those.
