I think I stated somewhere a few chapters back that Tite needed a good reason to pull the Vaizards into the fight. I think he's shown they have more than enough of a reason to fight against Aizen and Co. That said these next few weeks should be pretty interesting to see who ends up fighting who.

well it may not have been exciting but it was indeed interesting. i can see a bit from it though why some of the Vaizards have some hate for S.S. the Chamber of 46 were some really arrogant old fogies there. i don't wanna say it was their own fault for ending up the way they did by Azien, but it kind of looks that way.

i doubt it, we probably won't see anything about Isshin for a good long time. maybe something about him will pop up when this whole story arc finishes though. since for the most part it's really just focusing on primarily one Azien's connection to the current Gotei 13 and the past Captains.

right now he probably doesn't. his role seemed maybe like seeds planted for a future arc maybe along with Ishida's dad as well.
