HOW COME NOBU ALWAYS BRINGS EVERYONE'S THOUGHTS INTO HIS HEAD AND DOESN'T LISTEN TO HIS OWN?
Why can't Hachi just accept her feelings with Nobu?!?!
WHY DOES HACHI AND TAKUMI HAVE TWO CHILDREN WHEN TAKUMI CHEATS ON HER AND DOESN'T SEEM TO CARE FOR HER?!
It can't work out! And to people who support Takumi and Hachi's relationship...obviously you like that she is being cheated on >.>

WHY CAN'T THERE BE AN OKAY ENDING? When will it end?!
It's quite unfair that all this is happening I have to say, and I think Nobu and Nana do share faults in some things but come on they belong together --
I hope the manga ends happily without Takumi taking over Nana's life or else I will be so depressed. -_-
And I've wasted too much energy on this manga 😢

Well, Nobu more or less turned his back on Hachi when she got pregnant after all the dreamy luv luv talk, proving to be quite the disappointment. From a practical point of view Takumi was a way better choice at the time, especially with Nobu failing to provide the single thing he could (aka. love -.-). I see it simply as Hachi needing some security and prioritizing her child instead of chasing after some wuss (sorry, I simply don't like him ^^).

So things cool off a bit into the future with the two (yep, bit of a surprise) children born and all is well. Let's run off to Nobu now that all the stuff he thought was scary and complicated has been sorted and be all lovey-dovey? I'd hate that ending more than anything. I'd rather see Nobu sticking with Yuri, though his useless self would probably cause her death one way or another.

That said, I still think that Takumi is quite the disgusting fellow. Hard to say if he's still the same in the future glimpses we've had, but it I had the feeling a divorce wasn't unthinkable... been a few months so could've forgotten some crucial stuff.

Anyway, for me a happy ending regarding Hachi involves neither Nobu or Takumi. It involves Nana.

Some spoilers included for those people who haven't read the manga.

Everytime I re-watch or r-read NANA my heart aches painfully. Happiness & sadness packed together in one and it makes you realise that the story is close to reality, with all the changes going on between the characters (Eg. When in the start they were all pretty close and all hanged out in Nana O's and Nana K's apartment. Then one day Nana K. got prego by Takumi and Ren dying.) I mean it's not all about happiness like the typical mangas out there, but this is what makes Ai Yazawa's stories splendid.

And you were saying something about Takumi taking over Nana's life? I don't think that will happen, because it was shown that Takumi is in England and has another lover Stella, and their son Ren. He has other priorities now than Nana K. Yes he still cares for her and their daughter but I think it would be better for Nana K. to find another guy than expect anything more from Takumi.

Nevertheless, I hope Ai Yazawa throws some happiness in that story when she continues it in the future, the sadness just gets to me sometimes 🤢 .. and hopefully Nana O and Nana K will meet again 😀
