your guitar (or bass)
ok. hi musicians! i wanted to do a poll of what kind of guitars (or basses) people use but im sure that i will miss some and that would be no good. sooooo.... what kind or guitar (brand and model) do you play and for how many years have you been playing?
i'll start. i've been playing for six years (began at age 12). my axes are an ebony Gibson SG special, a custom Amfisound Routa K6 7 stringer and a white Fender Precision fretless bass. the Routa is the best guitar i have ever played this is what the Routa looks like. this is not mine though. ahhh whatever! just post pictures of what you got too. dont have to be yours but it would be nice to see what youre talking about
oh.
the SG but not mine. same for the bass
I have a green no brand p-bass at the moment complete with electrical tape over the open pole pick-ups. I have had it for about a year and four month. It plays alright, though I am in the market for a new one.

I have been playing for about a year, I have a used Epiphone but i'm not sure about the model since it has the shape of a stratocaster but i couldnt find any of those on the epi website.

Currently, I have 4 guitars.
A cheap Starcaster Strat by Fender (from Best Buy)
An Ibanez Artcore AXD82P
A Harmony H808
An SX Lapsteel.
I'm getting a Yamaha SBG300 as a project guitar sometime this week. Gonna throw some GFS pickups in it and a new neck.
Some gear pics

Feñder Stratojastero (yes, its Mexican)
an acoustic Ibanez, don't know which one, but it was ather expensive
And if I ever get enough money, I'll buy a hand-made classical harp-guitar so that I can play Recuerdos de la Alhambra from dusk until dawn. and from dawn until dusk.

I've got this one, a hand me down at that. I rarely touch it. I couldn't handle the pain on my fingers. 🤣
Maybe I'll grow a pair and try it again once more, sometime in the future.
I play a spanish/classical guitar, it is a rip off of a different brand,
The only electric I play is a Grass Roots, I'm unsure of the exact model.

I've been butchering Dylan songs for about a year now with a Yamaha FG735s Folk Acoustic Guitar and a C-40 classical guitar of the same make.
But I've been beating the crap out of drums and electric organs for nearly four years before I picked up the guitar.
edit:
I've gone electric.
Gibson Faded SG Special
Epiphone Les Paul Studio Deluxe

I semi-play a really old half-broken guitar. I don't even know the brand, and it's at least 40 years old 🤣 Naturally, a wooden acoustic guitar.
Still it works to learn on, despite being rather out of tune. And I'd rather put money toward a new saxophone (equals freaking expensive) than a guitar, although someday I'll end up with one for sure.
Edit: I got my new saxophone. It's a spanky new Selmer, and I am in love. In love and broke.

I play a generic electric guitar. It doesn't have a brand. Looks exactly like this.
It was a present my dad gave me to replace (my first owned) electric that he pawned off to pay for his traffic ticket. (Nice one, Dad!)
I also have this no-brand viet guitar. >_>;
Don't use it because it's missing 2 strings.
And yeah, I'm not that great on the guitar, I'd estimate around a year of experience. Because I'm not into playing it that much. My guitar sleeps through the seasons.
