How many chapters are there so far? o.O

Ok, so theres 10 volumes, i know that for sure. So far i've been getting it from BWYS and stopped at volume 9 chapter 7, which is the equivalent to chapter 57 for me, but when i search for xxxHOLiC here, the results show up to chapter 126 😕 and when i checked eXeXeX HOLIC Manga's website, i see that volume 1 had 12 chapters whereas it says 9 on BWYS' website and the same with the other volumes, 12 chapters each. So...am i actually missing some chapters (about 69 if its really up to 126 now) or is there something im not seeing 😕

With some of Clamp's manga, they condensed multiple chapters of weekly releases for the volume stuff. That's why the two group's numbering system don't match. (Did that make sense?)

I figured it out....BWYS takes 3 chapters and group 'em together and call it one chapter. I wonder why >_> 😕

Didn't I explain it before?...The volume tank raws go by different chapter numbers than the magazine chapter raws.

Well, the latest info i've heard is that after chapter 160, the story would be conluding soon. But this is just what a friend told me, so i'm not sure if it's accurate. And so far, i've read 166 chapters. Is anyone close to my number? or is my chapter number waaaay off? 😕

It should be somewhere around 160. 158 was actually released in Japan in early June after the month long break (if memory serves, anyway) so I think 166 might be a little high, although that depends on which system you use to count the chapters.
Regardless, it'll probably end within the year. CLAMP is supposedly starting a new project next year, and I imagine they won't want three serialized at once.
