Cant we all be friend even if one of us is gay
I use gay derogatorily all the time. Of course I don't use it to offend actual gays. Although I did get suspended in High School for calling my English class gay.

I know well that I have a thing for women..and Im not attracted to men, at all..
I hate it when ppl say "Z0mg, how come when you're gay But you never had sex/kiss with a girl b4?" or "You will like men someday, you're just growing up" "You never really love anyone b4" "Guys can be jerks but not all of them are bad"
oh forgodsakes, is sexual orientation really define by sex, immaturity or personal experiences/gender stereotypes?? 😐
Well you are still in high school so it could change. No guarantee like those other people you quoted were saying.
I'm a 2nd year uni student btw 😐
Sorry meant uni, thinking of High School atm. Still though life can change when your that young. Nothing is really set in stone.[/quote]
Agreed. Just because someone is heterosexual, bisexual, or homesexual now doesn't mean they will be in the future. People hate that fact that I say that, but I do find truth in it.
If it weren't for the gutter, my mind would be homeless.

i don't get mad when someone calls someone gay as an insult cause ussually they don't mean it in a way like "all gay people are bad so when i call you that you are to" ita more like "you hate to be called gay so i call you that" its like calling a gay person hetro(sexual), isn't it? i dont mind that either

Ha ha! In my region, the term "gay" no longer has any homosexual references. It's simply an adjective used for anything silly with a happy overtone. Probably stems from the original meaning of the word.
I do get annoyed with the petty smallmindedness of people who actually think that orientation should be a reason for discrimination, but if they're that pathetic, they're not worth my time.

I say things are gay all the time, but there's nothing mean about it... its like A-hole, people use it as a demeaning word all the time but there's nothing wrong with A-holes, I couldnt live a week without mine.

I voted "Other". It saddens me when people are discriminated against for their sexual preference.
On purpose without a purpose

I don't mind gay people, and I don't find the word "gay" offensive at all. I feel a teensy bit uncomfortable around lesbians though, but they're cool too. ;') They're interesting! Gay people, that is~

This thread is so straight. 😐
I say "retarded" on occasion, when talking about something that confuses me. And I am in no way talking about some person I don't even know that is mentally retarded. In fact, I don't even support calling mentally retarded people retarded. Thankfully, I have not caught onto calling things "gay."
Even though people don't realize that when you say something's gay, as in bad or stupid, you're saying gay people are bad or stupid, but that's really just looking too deep into it. Many people say it and don't really mean to offend gay people. They're not thinking about two people of the same sex fucking or on a midnight stroll when they say something's "gay."

I don't think they are the same. Assholes could mean bad but eveybody has an asshole. Not everybody is gay. I know people use it for something bad without the intention of offending gay people. But it's better not to be used in front of gay people. I never use gay for something bad myself.
I don't even support calling mentally retarded people retarded either. So I think using retarded and using gay are not the same either.

That was one of the dumbest videos I've ever seen. 😐
I know gay people who calls things "gay" themselves and definitely have no problem with me doing it. Really it's the people who aren't effected that make all the fuss. 😔

This reminds me of black people that use the N word. 😮 And then there are all of these other people trying to defend them...ah well, no need to defend anyone, really, right? 😐

while it does annoy me when people say "thats so gay" or something like that, i usually just ask them to stop or ask them if whatever they are talking about likes other things of the same gender (sence they are usually talking about a object or a class this makes no sence so thats what i try to point out) even my friends sometimes still say that but i just ask them not to. (btw I'm a gay guy 😀 )

Ouch, it sounds like you assimilate them as specimens you are about to dissect...
Ahem... points at nick I am a Doctor, you know...
Though in all seriousness, you're interpreting me in a wrong way. I find Japanese people interesting. That doesn't mean I want to dissect them. They give the appearance that they have a different perspective on life (combined with different values), hence why I'm interested, and I'd like to know more. I find all kinds of people interesting. Sorry, if that offends you, dear sir/ma'am. 🤣
Actually, I'm bi myself. There is more to me than meets the eye.
