Hello, a few things

 • If a series I'm reading is on a custom list, I no longer know which list it is on from the series page. This makes navigating to the list the series is on to make changes to lists much more difficult
 • Groups are no longer sorted by date added to the database. Not entirely necessary, but having a list of groups by approximate founding date was nice
 • text sizing on mobile devices is pretty inconsistent. Some of it is upscaled while some of it remains small.

I also noticed that text gets shortened with ... automatically in parts of the layout, even when dealing with data that was in tables before. (Like series names on author pages, or genre lists on the search page while displayed as a block.)

CSS offers the option to treat div's table-like (and modify that style dynamically with css depending on resolution) https://caniuse.com/#feat=css-table . I wonder if the library used in the design supports that.

Table-cells (or div's with the css-table-attributes) don't overflow.

I'm using a truncate option in css to make it look better on mobile. I removed that from the releases page when people complained. I'll probably remove it from other locations as well.

That css-option could only appear on the smaller screen-width-css right? So if enough width is there the truncate-setting could simply use the default-option and just behave like a regular table cell.

Candidates:

 • Author pages displaying Series the Author worked on
 • showing Genres during search where the displaytype is boxes
 • showing all Genres during search where the displaytype is list

Looks like everything that is impeding information density gets complaints by Desktop-users:

 • Larger Font size -> less lines
 • Width 919px to 1000px -> does not fit onto screen-half of 990px (1920x1080) anymore
 • Increased Padding -> Less lines
 • Hiding Information behind clicks or mouseover (More-Link / CSS-Shortening in Tables)

Box-tables overflow easier than div's with CSS-display: table-* attributes I guess.

Idk if someone mentioned this already, but if you edit a msg in your inbox/pm to someone, the box cannot be resized, yet the text is cut off, so my only choice to scroll is to move my cursor using the right arrow to read what I wrote.

@Mannick:
Looks like a search bot got caught in the web.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/comments/alburr/regarding_mangaupdates/
https://www.reddit.com/user/Nihilate

As posted here, it appears that Roboragi is being intermittently blocked by MangaUpdates. This could be happening for any number of reasonable reasons, but the main issue at the moment is that I don't have a decent way of contacting the admins in order to follow up (and hopefully help rectify the issue if it's something I can solve). As such, I'm disabling MU links until further notice. I'll see what I can do in the mean time, but if anyone has some contact information or a potential solution which doesn't involve trying to get around the block in an unethical way (like changing IP addresses) then I'm happy to hear it.

What exactly is Roboragi? We have been suffering a pretty sustained DDOS for the past 6 months. As a result we had to limited daily and hourly hits from all IPs. Whoever is doing it is changing their tactics as we adapt, so it's quite annoying. Sorry for the issues.

It's the bot that the r/manga subreddit uses, so that when you use certain tags, it'll automatically link you to a series' page on MAL, MU, etc.

Roboragi is a reddit bot that directly links any series name posted on reddit within < > tags to its mangaupdates, MAL, ANN, etc. pages.

Here's a FAQ: https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/wiki/index
here's the comment about MU https://www.reddit.com/r/Roboragi/comments/alburr/regarding_mangaupdates/

It's extremely useful, it would be great if you could make contact with the guy managing that and sort that out.

All the work you're putting in is very appreciated.

I messaged the Reddit user who developed it, but he hasn't replied. Doesn't appear he's been active for about a month

Warn: Banned

Are you ever going to implement a way to save custom "accessibility" settings on the site (Such as preferred font size), or is it just going to be pushed off until people, supposedly, forget about it?
