This chapter confused me a bit so I was wondering if anyone could help.

Was his sister actually an oragnatan all along appearing human? Or was that just a cover up of the body? I'm assuming his father was going to use her as a donor for D (so I assume there might be something wrong with him).

Also what happened to Count D's wounds from when she tried to rip his throat out? They seem healed very quickly. Was it to do with him drinking her blood (I assume that is what he was doing at the end with the medicine comment).

I would be greatful for any help in understanding this chapter (or other theories).

yup the way i saw it, she was pretty much a 'donor' for parts (i.e. if he ever needed a liver or anything).

Since they're so similar to us, its not too surprising, and ancient chinese medicine often revolves around.... odd animal parts too here and there. Though whether or not it was the blood that saved him can be debated. i think it was more grounded parts and the like that are stewed together like you see in chinese medicine....
