Is it possible to remove the Categories that describe an already existing Genre?

Example,

Tough is a manga who's genres include Sports and Martial Arts.

Funny enough, those are also used to describe the series in the categories. Seems silly.

While we're talking about the series... It isn't licensed. Whoever keeps rejecting my request, I'd appreciate it if you'd stop. The prequel to the series, Koukou Tekken-den Tough however was licensed then discontinued after 6 "compilation" volumes.
