This is more a question than a bug, but this board seemed the most appropriate place to post this.

Last night I added a Bleach DJ and then a release for it. This morning I saw that the release was no longer pending but also was not listed in my "previously added releases", so I assumed it was rejected. I went to the FAQ to read about why this would happen.

I had specified the group; the release was genuine and wasn't stolen; the group isn't in the list of scanlators, but I found it on this site under two other bleach doujinshi, so it had been accepted before; I had not specified a website or forum, but again, they had been specified before, PLUS it isn't a licensed series.

So what I did next: I resubmitted the release, but I added links to the two other releases attributed to them:
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=10529
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=10530

And I also added the livejournal community of the scanlators to show it was a real group. Further, I added a link to the entry which announced the release and even had a download link for it, so I showed the release did exist.

It was again rejected, but now I am thoroughly confused. What other reason would there be to reject it? According to the FAQs, I fulfilled everything required for a release to be accepted, and even cited previous scanlations already in the database. I'd really like to get the release accepted because the only place online I found this DJ was on their group, so it doesn't seem fair that I am taking their contribution and posting it on this site without giving them the credit for it.

Actually, because your comment for that release was too long. There's a character limit. Anything after that character limit is not saved, so the only part that I could read did not contain anything like a direct link to the doujin. The link you pointed to livejournal only pointed me to the index page of the main livejournal site. I need a DIRECT link and not some roundabout thing. And citing the two other release by that group does not work since those two releases have mediafile links which do not contain this particular doujin release

Ahh, got it! Sorry about that! I didn't realize there was a character limit.

I didn't intend for the other DJ citations to be sufficient to prove this release was valid, but I included them in case the problem was that the group wasn't in the database.

Thank you very much!
