I'm a little bit confused about the whole thing with Final Fantasy,
I know there is a game with the same title, movie and I saw something like one episode of an anime, but still I'm totally confused about the plot & generally what happened.
Is there more movies, or is there anime series or something?
Or I need to play the game to know anything 'cause everything above is just for fans of the Cloud and Tifa, cause they know the plot from the game?

Any clues?
And maybe someone could list me all of the parts of the game( I think there is more than one, and maybe I will play it, since I am already interested)

Only FF X, X-2 and FFVII, Advent Children are related to each other. Everything else are totally different plots.

Well, Final Fantasy 7 has a lot of spin offs...

Sequels:
One is Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children which is the movie that you both mentioned which takes place two years after the game.

There's Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus which takes place one year after the game and centers around Vincent Valentine.

Prequels:
There's also Final Fantasy VII: The Last Order. which is an anime adaptation of two flashbacks that took place in the Final Fantasy VII game.

Then there's Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core which is a game in the PSP which takes place before the original game up to the beginning of it and also helps to understand the plot in Final Fantasy VII: The Last Order.

And Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis, a game for cellphones which takes place 6 years before the original Final Fantasy VII game and centers around the Turks.

Most final fantasy games are unique. They have their own world/plot/characters/battle system. Only a few are sequels of a previous story, one being final fantasy x-2 (sequel to x or 10) and final fantasy advent children (one movie) that is the sequel to the game final fantasy 7. There is also a 1 oav final fantasy last order or something which is the prequel to final fantasy 7. If you can't tell, ff7 is very popular. the movie, Spirits within is a separate movie with a separate plot.

hmm so from what I can see I definitely need to play games watch the movies and anime 🙂 but thanks a lot, at least I know what to look for 😀

Beware the Spirits Within, though. Of all the Final Fantasy productions, it's the only one with the least connection to the games, if not none at all. I remember a lot of people hating it, saying that the movie is just using the franchise name to sell.

FFVII DoC actually takes place a year after FFVII AC. There is also a mobile game FFVII DoC Lost Episode. I'm not sure what is new in the mobile version. But not being a TPS player, DoC is hard 🙁

There is also an OVA sequel to FFV - Final Fantasy: Legend of the Crystals.
