No it's not Star Jewel I thought it was too, but checked Star Jewel out and star Jewel didn't turn out like this one did. If it helps, I remember the guy and girl were newly wed couples. Then there was this one creature that came to warn the girl about there being aliens and she had to stop them. The creature turns itself into a apron and helps make her fly (I don't remember, but something along those lines). I tried looking for in using the aliens tag, but that didn't work and I even tried newly wed but still go nothing. Her husband was also being control by the bad guys and he lost control of his self.
