I remember that it was about a guy that was very smart and was somewhat conceited. He would push other away from him (so he is usually alone). He would sometimes get harass by his mentor/teacher. Then, there was another guy that was trying to get close to the conceited guy, but then one day the mentor/teacher kidnapped the conceited guy, drugged him, and putted him on this weird "experiment-like" table.

It took place at some kind of university for research or something like that.
