_< I didn't see any posts so i decided I'd make one for her!
Hm...idk how many people actually listen(ed) to her music, but i think everyone knows of her. I hope this year we don't lose stars like we did in 2010. Personally, i think she died because of something related to drugs, but none the less her death impacts us.
R.I.P Whitney and other idols we've lost!

LOS ANGELES - Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music's queen until her majestic voice and regal image were ravaged by drug use, erratic behavior and a tumultuous marriage to singer Bobby Brown, died Saturday. She was 48.

I've only heard of her through my sister, as she sang the same song by her over and over again 😀 (I Will Always Love You).
I'm glad I at least learned of her, though. She has a very powerful and emotional voice. It's weird and sad to think that we'll never have another new song by her again, but I'm going to take my time now to listen to the songs she has released. Rest in peace, Whitney.
You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will.

We should all be locked up in small rooms with a straightjacket and chains around us, holding us in place. We are sure to be safe then, or well maybe not. You can't really be 100% as everything is harmful/dangerous now just waking up or walking out your house is bad enough. But let's not forget opening our Iceboxes turning on our TV and heaters. 🙂

R.I.P, Whitney Houston.
There are times when you will miss what you never had. I wonder how you will find what you so desperately need.

I always love her songs. The movie "The guardian" is one of my life-time favourites. 😎

Can't believe that she just passed away like that. It really is sad and Whitney will certainly be missed. 🙁

RIP Whitney! Can't say I listened to all her music, but as a kid her tunes were always playing in the house and "the bodyguard" was a great movie.

I understand that you're all in for "freedom" and human rights...but seriously? Are you seriously defending crack cocaine?
You're either a retard or a crackhead.

I remember growing up listening and singing along to her songs. and of course I thought I sounded great and would someday be a singer like her, but I sounded better in my head than I actually did out loud. Anyways, she is one of the artists that helped me find joy in singing and made music very important in my life. So, she will definitely be missed.
P.S. I hope this thread doesn't devolve into a debate about whether drug use is good or bad. Drug use was only one part of the person that Whitney was. Also, there is probably already a thread on what people think about drugs.
