There are quite a few with female MC if you look for them
Akebi's Sailor Uniform, Nichijou, Asobi Asobasa. These are like school, funny type with FMC. Without school but funny, Jahy-sama. For slice of life, Do it Yourself.
Smth with suspense/psychological, The promised neverland (you have to read the manga after anime s1, geometry dash lite) There are some others psychological ones with FMC that I havent watched yet but may fall in this category like Lain, Ghost in the shell.
Jojo stone ocean. lol. Shounen fighting. Tho you have to watch the entire jojo series before this part which again do not have romance
One of my top 3, Violet Evergarden. It has a slight touch of romance but it is not exactly the same romance as you're thinking or what you see nowadays. It's hard to explain this one. So if you ever get time, try this too.
